Takashi Aihara has a wealth of experience in both academia and practice. After obtaining a Doctor of Laws from Waseda University, he spent several years as a research fellow in maritime law at Southampton University. Takashi‘s practical experience includes work as a lawyer, corporate director and maritime arbitrator. Since joining Higashimachi’s Tokyo office in 2010, he has also served on a supervisory committee within the Ministry of Finance.
