Masayoshi Hishida is scheduled to take a position as a researcher and faculty member (Commercial Law) at a university from April 2026. Masayoshi’s research field is general commercial law with a focus on company law (including commercial law, company law, insurance law, financial instruments and exchange act, and maritime law), and he has a particular interest in company-related litigation centered on shareholder derivative actions, non-contentious company cases, and commercial provisional dispositions. Based on over 10 years of practical experience, he provides legal services that bridge the gap between “theory” and “practice.”
